ABOUT

Foster Care

What better way to impact the life of a child than to open your heart and your home to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which a child can grow? Angelheart’s Foster Care program helps these children find devoted families from which they can receive the love, care, and attention they deserve.

People like you become foster parents every day. Some choose to foster children to “complete” their family, others because they are called to serve and mentor, and still others choose to fill their homes with laughter after their own children have grown. Whatever your life stage may be, opening your home to a foster child (or children) is sure to bring great reward to you and your family, as well as have a life-changing impact on the child you foster.

Every child needs a loving home where he or she can be safe and allowed to grow and prosper. Can you provide that ray of hope for a child in need?

ABOUT

Adoption

Would you like to provide a lasting home for a deserving child? If you are prepared to make a permanent commitment, consider adopting a child. Angelheart children are in need of love, security, and stability… a place to call home. Imagine the impact you can have by offering a lifetime of love and care to one of these kids.

Angelheart actively participates in special needs adoptions for children who are in Texas Department of Family and Protective Services conservatorship. These children have been removed from their homes for physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect or abandonment. In these cases, all parental rights have been terminated. Our agency is contracted with the TDFPS and helps these deserving kids find permanent homes through the adoption process.

Learn more about these children by visiting Texas Adoption Resources Exchange or Heart Gallery of Central Texas.
Additionally, Angelheart does foster-adopt placements. The foster family will take the placement with the intent to adopt, once parental rights have been terminated.

If you are interested in adoption, please contact Meghann Oldis at (512) 310-9857.
